Camshaft Bearing

Install the camshaft thrust plates and the camshaft bearing caps. Tighten the camshaft bearing cap bolts and the camshaft thrust plate bolts in three steps, in the sequence shown.

- First Step: 4 Nm (35 inch lbs.)
- Second Step: 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.)
- Third Step: 12-14 Nm (100-126 inch lbs.)

NOTE: Be sure to install the camshaft thrust plates and the camshaft bearing caps in the correct positions. Refer to the numbers noted during removal.
