Heater Hose: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Drain the engine coolant. For additional information, refer to Cooling System.







2. Disconnect the heater water hoses from the heater core.







3. Disconnect the heater outlet hose from the water hose connection.
4. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.







5. Remove the screws and the RH engine and transmission splash shield.







6. Disconnect the heater hose from the radiator.







7. Disconnect the heater hose from the water pipe.







8. Remove the bolts and the water pipe.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Lubricate the hoses with Rubber Suspension Insulator Lube E25Y-19553-A or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESF-M99B112-A.
