Evaporative Check Valve: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
CAUTION: Do not remove the evaporative emission hoses from the assembly as damage may occur to the valve or the fittings. The fuel vapor control valve and hoses are repaired as an assembly only.
2. Disconnect and remove the fuel vapor control valve tube assembly at the inline T connector.
3. Disconnect the vapor Lube.
4. Remove the fuel vapor control valve tube assembly.
1. Remove the hose.
2. Remove the fuel vapor control valve tube assembly nut.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
