Thermostat, Engine Cooling

The thermostat should begin to open at 92°C (197°F) - 2.0L Zetec-E engines, 88°C (190°F) - 2.0L SPI engines and be fully open at 106°C (222°F) - 2.0L Zetec-E engines, 102°C (215°F) - 2.0L SPI engines. Install a new thermostat if it does not operate as specified.
