Clutch Disc: Service and Repair

Special Tools:

Removal
1. Remove the transaxle.

2. CAUTION: If reusing the clutch pressure plate, loosen the bolts evenly a maximum of two turns each, working diagonally.





Remove the clutch.
- Loosen the bolts evenly.
- Remove clutch pressure plate and clutch disc.

Installation

1. CAUTION: Insert the bolts finger-tight and tighten them a maximum of two turns at a time to the torque setting.





Install the clutch.
1. Using the special tool, install the clutch pressure plate with the centered clutch disc on the locating pins on the flywheel.
2. Tighten the clutch pressure plate evenly, working diagonally.
2. Remove the special tools.
3. Install the transaxle.
