Water Pump

Removal

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Drain the cooling system.






3. Loosen the water pump pulley retaining bolts.
4. Remove the accessory drive belt.






5. Remove the water pump pulley.






6. Detach the water pump from the water pump housing.






7. Rotate the water pump 180° within the water pump housing and remove it.
- Discard the sealing ring.

Installation

Note: Install a new water pump sealing ring.






1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Fill the cooling system.
