Exterior Mirror Glass

REMOVAL







1. Position the inner edge of the exterior rear view mirror glass to its maximum travel.







2. Grasp the outboard edge of the exterior rear view mirror glass and pull outward.

WARNING: PLACE A SHOP TOWEL BETWEEN THE EXTERIOR REAR VIEW MIRROR GLASS AND THE HAND TO AVOID PERSONAL INJURY IN THE INSTANCE OF GLASS BREAKAGE.

3. Remove the exterior rear view mirror glass.

INSTALLATION







1. Press firmly in the center of the exterior rear view mirror glass until it snaps onto the exterior rear view mirror motor.

NOTE:
^ When installing the mirror glass, make sure the motor gasket is in position between the mirror glass and the mirror motor, and that the mirror glass snaps completely onto the mirror motor.
^ An audible click will be heard during installation.
