Pick-Up Coil: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove distributor and ignition coil. Refer to Distributor / Removal and Installation and Ignition Coil / Service and Repair.
2. Remove the two (2) screws from each pick-up coil.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Remove the pick-up coils (2).

INSTALLATION
1. Install the lower and upper pick-up coils.
2. Secure both with two (2) screws.
3. Connect the electrical connector.
4. Install the ignition coil and the distributor. Refer to Distributor / Removal and Installation and Ignition Coil / Service and Repair.
5. Adjust ignition timing. Refer to Adjustments / Ignition Timing Adjustments.
