Control Module: Service and Repair

CAUTION:
- All SAS wire harnesses are covered with yellow insulation. Before you disconnect any part of an SRS wire harness, disconnect the airbag connectors.
- Whenever the ignition switch is ON, or has been turned OFF for less than three minutes, be careful not to bump the SRS unit; the airbag(s) could accidentally deploy and cause damage or injuries.
- For additional precautions, refer to 1995, 1996, and 1997 Accord 4 Cylinder model.

1. Remove the right door sill molding.
2. Pull the carpet back to expose the TCM.




3. Remove the ECM cover mounting nuts and turn the TCM over




4. Remove the TCM, and disconnect the wire harness connectors.
