Intake Manifold: Service and Repair
INTAKE MANIFOLDCOMPONENTS
REMOVAL
1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Disconnect the TPS connector(A) and ISA connector(B).
3. Remove the PCV hose(A) and breather hose(B).
4. Remove the accelerator cable by loosening the locknut, then slip the cable end out of the throttle linkage.
5. Remove the delivery pipe(A).
6. Remove the heater hoses(A), PCSV(B), and brake vacuum hose(C).
7. Remove the intake manifold stay(A).
8. Remove the intake manifold.
9. Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
