Evaporator Core: Service and Repair

Fig. 9 Evaporator Case & Core Assembly:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then discharge refrigerant.
2. Using tube remover 09977-33600 or equivalent, disconnect suction hose and liquid tube.
3. Remove grommet cover, then the glove box assembly.
4. Remove lower righthand crash pad assembly, then the evaporator assembly and evaporator, Fig. 9.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
