Intake Air Temperature Sensor

The intake air temperature sensor (IAT Sensor), located on the air cleaner, is a resistor-based sensor to detect the intake air temperature According to the intake air temperature information from the sensor, the ECM will control the necessary amount of fuel injection.

SENSOR INSPECTION




1. Measure the voltage between the IAT sensor terminal 1 and 3.
2. If the voltage deviates from the standard value, replace the intake air temperature sensor assembly.
