Fuel Level Sensor: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Release the residual pressure in fuel line .
2. Remove the sub fuel sender service cover (A).




3. Disconnect the sub fuel sender connector (A).
4. Disconnect the vapor tube quick-connector (B).
5. Remove the installation bolts (C), and then remove the sub fuel sender from the fuel tank.










Installation

1. Installation is reverse of removal.

Sub fuel sender installation bolt:
2.0 - 2.9 N.m (0.2 - 0.3 kgf.m, 1.4 - 2.2 lb-ft)
