INFINITI WINTER TIRES

APPLIED MODELS: 1990 Q45 [G50] and M30 [F31]

SERVICE INFORMATION

In order to improve vehicle traction during winter driving, all-season radial or snow tires equivalent to factory equipped tires may be installed on Infiniti Q45 and M30 vehicles.

NOTE: The M30 is factory equipped with all-season radial tires.

Upon customer request, dealers may recommend alternative tires for improved traction. When doing so, these guidelines should be followed:

1. Any tires of similar size [P215/65R15 for the Q45 and P215/60R15 for the M30] may be used. However, the same size and load carrying capacity as the original equipment tires must be used.

2. All four [4] tires must be replaced without exception. As noted in the INFINITI Q45 and M30 Owner's Manuals, the mixed use of different types of tires [i.e., radial mixed with bias ply, snow mixed with non-snow] should be avoided because of potentially adverse effects on vehicle handling and ride characteristics.

3. The requesting customer should be informed of the speed rating of the replacement tires. Also, note that the replacement tires may increase the interior road noise level.

NOTE: Please note that all-season or snow tires will have lower speed ratings than factory equipped tires. In addition, when 4 snow tires are installed on the vehicle, the standard inflation pressure shown on the side of tire should be used.
