SERVICE INFORMATION
A new CD-ROM (NEC22025) was mailed to each Infiniti dealer to update the driver (operating system) and the resident software in the navigation unit (see Figure 1) if any of the following incidents should occur.
1. After pressing "I agree"
^ The customer sees a yellow bar at the bottom of the screen with the words "Please wait " displayed for more than one minute (see Figure 2), or
^ The Navigation Map does not appear at all.
2. Vertical lines appear on the screen when the Navigation System switches from "bird view" to "route view".
3. One of the following occurs when the vehicle is at a location listed on Table 1:
^ The navigation screen freezes.
^ Unintentional re-routing of a destination, or
^ The voice guidance is turned off unintentionally.
If any of these incidents should occur, follow the Service Procedure in this bulletin to repair the vehicle.
This is the ONLY approved repair procedure for this incident. If the vehicle falls within this bulletin range, a claim to Infiniti for the repair of this incident may be denied if the repairs are not performed exactly as outlined in this bulletin.
