Wiper Pivot Arm

Removal







1. Disconnect the washer pipe.

NOTE: Left-hand shown, right-hand similar.







2. Remove the wiper pivot arm retaining nut cover.

NOTE: Left-hand shown, right-hand similar.







3. Remove the wiper pivot arm retaining nut.

NOTE: Left-hand shown, right-hand similar.







4. Using the special tool, remove the wiper pivot arm.

NOTE: Left-hand shown, right-hand similar.

Installation







1. Install the driver side wiper pivot arm.

NOTE: Measure the distance between the tip of the wiper blade and the upper edge of the cowl vent screen.







2. Install the passenger side wiper pivot arm.

NOTE: Measure the distance between the tip of the wiper blade and the upper edge of the cowl vent screen.







3. Install the wiper pivot arm retaining nut.
- Tighten to 17 Nm.

4. Install the wiper pivot arm retaining nut cover.

NOTE: Left-hand shown, right-hand similar.







5. Connect the washer pipe.

NOTE: Left-hand shown, right-hand similar.
