Climate Control Assembly Bulbs

This service procedure is to be used only for replacement of the incandescent lamps. The procedure does not apply to the vacuum fluorescent display lamps or the function indicators.

If any of the function indicators are inoperative, the control assembly must be replaced.

REMOVAL
1. Remove EATC module from vehicle under Control Assembly removal.

CAUTION:
^ Care should be exercised not to excessively flex the ribbon cable between the switch board assembly and the circuit board.
^ Do not touch the components or traces on the circuit board, as damage to the circuit or components may result.

2. Place control assembly on a clean cardboard surface.
3. Use a screwdriver to release bezel and pivot it to an open position.
4. Insert a screwdriver in the slot in the bulb base and turn counterclockwise a quarter turn.
5. Lift inoperative bulb out and insert new bulb. Use screwdriver to turn bulb clockwise a quarter turn.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
