Steering Column Shaft

Removal





1. CAUTION: The lower end of the steering wheel must be wired in such a way that the steering column does not rotate, resulting in damage to the air bag sliding contact.

Remove and discard the pinch bolt. Detach the intermediate shaft from the steering column yoke.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.





3. Remove and discard the pinch bolt. Detach the coupler.
4. Remove the intermediate shaft.

Installation








1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
