Knock Sensor: Service and Repair

KNOCK SENSOR (KS) - 2.0L ZETEC

Removal and Installation

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING.

NOTE: The knock sensor (KS) is located on the RH side of the cylinder block.




2. Disconnect the KS electrical connector and remove the connector from the mounting bracket.




3. Remove the nut and the KS.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
