Knock Sensor: Service and Repair

KNOCK SENSOR (KS) REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - 4.0L











1. Remove the intake manifold. See INTAKE MANIFOLD REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - 4.0L.




2. Disconnect the knock sensor (KS) electrical connector.
3. Remove the KS.
1. Remove the bolt.
2. Remove the sensor.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
