Keyless Control Module

KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ADVANCED KEYLESS SYSTEM]

NOTE:
- If the keyless control module is replaced, always perform the following procedure.

Without immobilizer system
- Card key programming (See CLEARING CARD KEY [ADVANCED KEYLESS SYSTEM].)
- Steering lock unit programming (See STEERING LOCK UNIT ID CODE REGISTRATION [ADVANCED KEYLESS SYSTEM).)

With immobilizer system
- Card key programming (See CLEARING CARD KEY [ADVANCED KEYLESS SYSTEM].)
- Steering lock unit programming (See STEERING LOCK UNIT ID CODE REGISTRATION [ADVANCED KEYLESS SYSTEM].)
- Immobilizer system resetting (with immobilizer system) (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM COMPONENT REPLACEMENT/KEY ADDITION AND CLEARING [ADVANCED KEYLESS SYSTEM].) (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM COMPONENT REPLACEMENT/KEY ADDITION AND CLEARING [KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM).)

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the dashboard under cover (Driver side).
3. Remove the auto light/wiper control module. (Vehicles with auto light/wiper system)
4. Remove the auto light-off control module. (Vehicles without auto light/wiper system)




5. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
