DESCRIPTION

The following conditions may occur on some 1992 929 vehicles.

1. An impact noise is heard inside the door panel when the front door glass is being closed after being fully opened. This is due to slack in the wire reel spring.

2. A chattering noise is heard inside the door panel when the front door glass is being opened or closed. This is due to loose motor installation bolts.

Effective December 9, 1991, the following production changes have taken place.

1. The length of the wire reel spring has been changed to prevent wire slack.

2. The insert nut material has been changed to prevent the motor installation bolts from coming loose.

Vehicles built before December 9, 1991 that experience these symptoms should be repaired according to this bulletin.
