Ignition Switch: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
Sends START signal (engine cranking) signal to ECU.

LOCATION
On steering column opposite key switch.

OPERATION
START signal used in ECU calculations for these outputs:
^ Fuel injection quantity and timing
^ Idle speed control valve
^ A/C relay/cut-off
^ Igniter (timing control)
