Variable Induction Control Solenoid: Testing and Inspection

Blow Through Ports And Verify Proper Flow:

1. Disconnect valve. Verify air flow between valve ports as described on image chart.

Blow Through Ports And Verify Proper Flow With Battery Voltage Applied:

2. Apply battery voltage across solenoid terminals. Verify air flow between valve ports as described on image chart.
3. If not as specified, replace solenoid valve.
4. Repeat above steps for other solenoid valve.
