Flowchart No.1 Symptom Back-up lights do not illuminate
Possible Cause
^ Burnt METER 15A fuse
^ Damaged back-up light switch (MTX)
^ Damaged transaxle range switch (ATX)
^ Burnt light bulbs
^ Open or short circuit in wiring harness
^ Poor connection of connector

Check METER 15A fuse in the fuse block.

Check the back-up light bulb.

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
2. Measure the voltage at terminal B (B/Y) of the back-up light switch [terminal 1 (B/Y) of the transaxle range switch].

1. Shift the shift [selector] lever to the reverse position.
2. Measure the voltage at terminal A (R/Y) of the back-up light switch [terminal C (R/Y) of the transaxle range switch].

Measure the voltage at terminal A (R/Y) [626] of the inboard combination light or F (R/N) [MX-6] of the rear combination light.
