Carpet: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.2. Remove the front seat.
3. Remove the rear seat cushion.
4. Remove the dashboard.
5. Remove the B-pillar lower trim.
6. Remove the selector cable and the interlock cable if equipped with ATX. (See SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
7. Remove the SAS control module bracket.
8. Remove the set plate. (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
9. Remove the audio amplifier.
10. Remove the fasteners.
11. Disengage the side hooks to remove the floor covering.
12. Install in the reverse order of removal.
