Water Pump: Service and Repair

WATER PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Drain the engine coolant.
2. Remove the flesh air duct and air cleaner. (ZM model)
3. Remove the exhaust manifold insulator. (ZM model)
4. Remove the timing belt.
5. Remove the P/S oil pump with the oil hose still connected. Position the P/S oil pump so that is out of the way. (ZM model)
6. Remove the A/C compressor and A/C compressor bracket with the pipe still connected. Position the A/C compressor so that it is out of the way. (ZM model)

7. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Install a new gasket with the sealing ring facing the water pump.
