Alternator: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Loosen alternator adjusting nut, push alternator toward engine and remove drive belt.
3. Disconnect alternator electrical connections.
4. Remove alternator adjusting and pivot bolts.
5. Disconnect oil pressure switch.
6. Remove alternator from under side of vehicle.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
