BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE)

Removal and Installation


REMOVAL

NOTE:
If possible, before removing BCM, retrieve current BCM configuration to use for reference when configuring brand-new BCM after installation. Work Procedure.
1.Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
2.Remove the instrument lower panel LH. Removal And Installation.





3.Remove the BCM screws and release the BCM.
4.Disconnect the BCM connectors and then remove the BCM.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
- When replacing the BCM, it must be configured. Work Procedure.
- When replacing the BCM, perform initialization of NATS system and registration of all NATS ignition key IDs.

- When replacing the BCM, perform ID registration procedure of low tire pressure warning system. Refer to
ID Registration Procedure.
- When replacing the BCM, register the remote keyless entry system keyfob ID codes. With Intelligent Key System.
- When replacing the BCM, perform adjustment procedure for the steering angle sensor. Type 2.
