Vacuum Check Valve: Service and Repair

SECONDARY AIR INJECTION (AIR) VACUUM CHECK VALVE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield.
2. Remove the vacuum lines from the AIR control valve.
3. Disconnect the AIR control valve electrical connector.
4. Remove the vacuum lines from the check valve (5).
5. Remove the check valve.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the check valve to the vacuum lines (5).
2. Connect the AIR control valve electrical connector.
3. Install the vacuum lines to the AIR control valve.
4. Install the injector sight shield.
