Part I - Service Procedure

1. Raise rear deck.

2. Remove heat shield (2 upper nuts, 1 lower bolt) that covers heater hoses and A/C lines along front wall of engine compartment.

HEATER INLET HOSE REPAIR PROCEDURE:

3. Loosen upper clamp on heater inlet hose.

4. Reposition hose beyond second rib on heater inlet pipe (see Figure 1).

5. Position clamp between the two inlet pipe ribs and retighten to 2 N-m or 16 in.lbs.

6. Reinstall heat shield.
