THIS BULLETIN SUPERSEDES BULLETIN 86-C-11 DATED June, 1988. ALL COPIES OF THE ORIGINAL BULLETIN SHOULD BE DESTROYED.
General Motors has determined that some 1986 Pontiac Fiero model vehicles equipped with 2.5L engines and air conditioning (A/C) may experience fatigue cracking of the A/C hose assembly near the compressor.
To prevent the possibility of this condition occurring, an A/C hose assembly support bracket will be installed on all involved vehicles. Additionally, the A/C hose assembly will be replaced as required.
