CONDITION:

On some 1986 Fiero models, the odometer will not register additional mileage or the 10 amp gage fuse will blow.

CAUSE:

The odometer stepper motor ribbon cable shorts against the speedometer circuit board. Only Fiero vehicles equipped with V6 engines are affected.

CORRECTION:

Return defective odometers/speedometers to an authorized AC Spark Plug Service Center for repair. Vehicles after VIN GP207255 have been corrected.
