Power Mirror Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the armrest applique.
Insert a small thin-bladed tool at the front of the applique in order to release the retaining clip.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Loosen the setscrew that attaches the mirror control to the applique.
5. Remove the power mirror switch.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the power mirror switch to the applique.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the setscrew.

Tighten
Tighten the setscrew to 0.4 N.m (4 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector.
4. Install the armrest applique.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
