Camshaft Installation

1. Apply clean engine oil to the following components:
^ Cams
^ Journals
^ The oil seal

2. Install the camshaft to the cylinder head.
3. Install the three camshaft housings to the cylinder head in the order shown.





4. After applying a light amount of engine oil to the housing bolts, tighten in the sequence shown.
^ Tighten the camshaft housing bolts to 11 Nm (97 ft. lbs.).
