Cigarette Lighter: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the IP center trim bezel (4).
3. Remove the retaining ring (3) from the rear of the cigar lighter (6).
4. Remove the following components from the IP center trim bezel (4):
^ The front parts of the cigar lighter (6)
^ The rear parts of the cigar lighter (6)
^ The rim (5)

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the following components to the IP center trim bezel (4):
^ The front parts of the cigar lighter (6) The rear parts of the cigar lighter (6)
^ The rim (5)
2. Install the retaining ring (3) to the rear of the cigar lighter (6).
3. Install the IP center trim bezel (4).
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
