Muffler: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.





2. Cut the intermediate pipe at the muffler near the weld.





3. Remove the muffler from the hangers.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the muffler to the hangers.





2. Weld the muffler to the intermediate pipe.
3. Lower the vehicle.
