Correction

Reattach the molding to the vehicle using the contents of Urethane Adhesive Caulking Kit (U.S. P/N 12346392, Canadian P/N 10952983) and the following procedure. Before proceeding, carefully read the complete instructions included in the kit.

1. Remove any old adhesive from the edge of the windshield and the roof pillar using 3M(TM) 08984 General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner or equivalent.

Notice
To prevent damage from occurring to the exterior finish on the molding in the next step, do not allow the adhesive remover to come in contact with the exterior surface.

2. Remove any old adhesive from the molding surface that attaches it to the edge of the glass and roof pillar.

3. Carefully apply Glass Prep Primer (clear #1) to the edge of the windshield. Do not apply any to the exterior surface.

4. Carefully apply Glass Primer (black #2) directly over the clear primer just applied in the previous step.

5. Carefully apply PVC Primer (clear #4) to the section of the molding that attaches to the edge of the windshield. Do not allow any primer to get on the exterior surface of the molding.

6. Carefully apply a continuous SMALL bead of urethane adhesive to the molding where the primer was applied in the previous step.

7. Carefully apply the molding to the edge of the windshield and press into place.

8. Apply strips of masking tape as necessary to hold the molding to the windshield until the urethane adhesive has cured.

9. Remove the masking tape after the urethane has cured.
