Vacuum Reservoir HVAC: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the right and left instrument panel insulators.
2. Disconnect the vacuum hoses from the vacuum tank.




3. Remove the mounting screws that secure the vacuum tank to the blower case.
4. Remove the tank.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the tank into the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the mounting screws that secure the vacuum tank to the blower case.

Tighten
Tighten the vacuum tank screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).




3. Connect the vacuum hoses to the vacuum tank.
4. Install the right and left instrument panel insulator.
