Assist Strap Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Release the assist strap covers in order to access the screws.
2. Remove the screws (1).
3. Remove the assist strap (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the assist strap (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the assist strap screws (1).

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Install the assist strap covers pressing in to place until fully seated.
