Gas Cap Tether Rivet Breaking
(Install New Rivet)

Models:
1999-2002 Chevrolet Camaro
1998-2002 Pontiac Firebird

Condition

Some customers may comment that the fuel cap tether is detached from the vehicle. The tether is still intact with the fuel cap.

Correction

Install the fuel cap tether using a new rivet, P/N 10403773. This will correctly reattach the tether and prevent unnecessary replacement of the fuel cap assembly.
