Assist Handle Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure




1. Pull down on the assist handle to expose the screws.
2. Remove the access covers with a small flat-bladed tool.
3. Remove the assist handle screws (1).
4. Remove the assist handle from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the assist handle to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the assist handle screws (1).

Tighten the roof rail assist handle retaining screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Install the plastic cover pressing into place until fully seated.
