A new oil pressure switch, Part No. 928 606 203 02, has been installed in production as of February 7, 1983;

81 D 5688 Automatic
Switching point of new part is 0.25 + 0.15 bar (was 0.5 bar). In isolated cases the oil pressure indicator light may flicker on earlier model 928 vehicles. The new version switch should be installed in these vehicles.
