Removing And Installing Fuel Injectors

Preliminary work
- Ignition off, ignition key removed.
- No sources of ignition in the vicinity.
- Ensure adequate ventilation.

1. Remove fuel distributor pipe.

Removing fuel injectors







1. Pull clamp off fuel injector -A- and pull fuel injector out of fuel distributor pipe -B-.

Installing fuel injectors

NOTE: If the fuel injectors are to be reused, the sealing rings should be replaced.

1. Replace sealing rings on fuel injectors. Take care not to damage fuel injector when removing sealing rings.







2. Insert fuel injector into the fuel distributor pipe -A- and fit clamp on the fuel injector -B-.







3. Check that the sheetmetal clip is correctly fitted. The sheetmetal clip must engage in the flanged edge on the fuel distributor pipe.

Subsequent work
1. Install fuel distributor pipe together with fuel injectors.
