WM 195819 Removing and installing coolant regulator

Preliminary work

1. Remove rear wall cover. -> 555919 Removing and installing rear wall cover - section on "Removing" Service and Repair.
2. Remove engine compartment lid. -> 557819 Removing and installing engine compartment lid - section on "Removing".
3. Remove coolant regulator cover. -> 195519 Removing and installing housing for coolant regulator - section on "Removing" 195519 Removing and installing housing for coolant regulator.

Removal

1. Remove coolant regulator -2- from the lid -1-.
1.1. Remove seal -1-.
1.2. Clean sealing area of coolant regulator and lid.
1.3. Fit a new seal.

Information

- Grease O-rings, hoses and lines in the cooling system with Kluberplus Gel (Part No. 000.043.205.93).

1. Install the coolant regulator -2- into the coolant regulator cover -1-.
1.1. Grease and fit new seal -3-.

Subsequent work

1. Install coolant regulator cover. -> 195519 Removing and installing housing for coolant regulator - section on "Installing" 195519 Removing and installing housing for coolant regulator.
2. Install engine compartment lid. -> 557819 Removing and installing engine compartment lid - section on "Installing".
3. Install rear wall cover. -> 555919 Removing and installing rear wall cover - section on "Installing" Service and Repair.
