SUBJECT: FRONT BRAKE PADS WITHOUT CHAMFER, ISSUE: 04/85-750 M85 RUNNING CHANGE



The asbestos-free semi-metallic brake pads fitting as from M83 previously had a large chamfer on the edges.

In order to improve the ability of the friction material to keep the brake disc clean, the chamfer has been removed. In addition, this has increased the available friction material by about 15%. The change has been introduced in production as from VIN Serial Nos.:
