CHECK ENGINE lamp (MIL)

Fault symptom
The lamp does not light up when the ignition is switched on. On M90- cars the lamp should go out after 2 seconds it working correctly.


Diagnostic procedure




1 Check the power supply
- Ignition switch in ON position.
- Select command code 452 with the ISAT scan tool.

Lamp flashing?
YES Continue fault diagnosis of the LH system. Description of On-Board Diagnostics
NO Continue fault diagnosis for "EDU" or "indicator lamp 47P".
