Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL




1. Open liftgate.
2. Remove plastic fasteners to upper garnish molding by pushing center of fastener in. Remove molding.
3. If removing bulbs, twist sockets out of stop lamp and remove bulbs.
4. Disconnect electrical harness.
5. Remove center high-mount stop lamp by removing retainer screws.

INSTALLATION




1. Install center high mount stop lamp with screws.

Torque: 2.5 N.m (19 in-lbs)

2. Connect electrical harness.
3. Install upper garnish molding with plastic fasteners.
4. Close liftgate.
