Accessory A/C System - Wiring Procedure

SUBJECT: ACCESSORY JUSTY AIR CONDITIONING SOA332A105
When installing an accessory air conditioner into an early production Justy, an OEM 9 pin wire harness for A/C operation may be disconnected resulting in an inoperative A/C system.
Vehicles produced AFTER the following VIN's have the 9 pin harness connected in production.

If the vehicle does not have the 9 pin harness connected, see the procedure below to complete this wiring connection.
FIGURE 1:
1. Pull the main body wire harness going into the passenger compartment on the passenger side out approximately 4 inches. The white 9 pin female connector and harness will be taped to the main harness and should be visible. (See Figure 1).
2. Cut the tape and straighten the 9 pin wire harness.
3. Feed the connector back down into the passenger compartment along with the main harness. Refit the grommet.
4. Go into the vehicle on the passenger side and pull the 9 pin connector and harness down along the fire wall until it is at the bottom of the blower.

5. Push the wire between the lower blower support bracket and the blower and make the connection to the male end. This harness may also be taped up. (See Figure 2).
