Heat Shield: Service and Repair
HEAT SHIELD COVERREMOVAL
1. CENTER HEAT SHIELD COVER
1. Remove the rear exhaust pipe and muffler.
- Non-turbo model
- Turbo model and STI model
2. Remove the propeller shaft.
3. Remove the four bolts to remove center heat shield cover. (Except STI model)
4. Remove the four nuts and two clips to remove center heat shield cover. (STI model)
2. REAR HEAT SHIELD COVER
1. Remove the muffler.
2. Remove the four bolts to remove rear heat shield cover.
INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.
